SGN (Social Gaming Network) has created a platform for syncing your iPhone to your desktop or laptop and simulate a Wii type gaming experience. The accelerometers in the i-devices (works on iTouch too) are principally the same as those in a Wiimote. The only game available right now is Golf , but the iFun platform will be open to outside developers which should ensure more games in the future.

With the logical comparisons between the two devices I’m actually surprised this hasn’t happened sooner. There is no reason that Nintendo can’t return the favor and open up their system to iPhone apps that make use of the accelerometer as well.
