Miller Coors Logo

Whe we had previously posted on the Miller Coors merger, there was still some ambiguity on how this would effect each company. For the most part it has been a behind the scenes issue of combining shipping and transport recources and has not shown any public change.
This new logo developed by Pentagram doesn’t promise to change that fact:
The joint venture will be most used for business-to-business communications, and largely invisible to typical consumers. The familiar cursive logos of the two brewing companies will be unchanged.
They go on to say:
The new MillerCoors symbol, based on a view of a glass of beer from above, is at once neutral enough to combine with the rich heritage of the existing brands, forward-looking, and unequivocally about beer.
If you go to the link above, they have an animation showing exactly the thought behind the new mark.
