KU Declared (Simulated) Champions

Here’s some good news for Kansas basketball fans:
WhatIfSports.com, a national sports simulation Web site, is predicting that the Kansas Jayhawks will defeat the Memphis Tigers in the championship game of the 2008 NCAA Men’s Final Four in San Antonio.
The Web site uses simulation technology to recreate the Final Four 10,000 times, providing a glimpse into what are the most likely outcomes in San Antonio.
The site accurately picked seven of the so-called elite eight teams in the tournament. It was also correct in predicting that all four No. 1 seeds would advance to San Antonio for the Final Four.
The website is really cool and allows you to run simulation match ups between any two teams in the major sports organizations. Not only does it give you a predicted winner and final score but complete statistics for the simulated game and a play by play summary.
I simulated the Kansas / North Carolina game and you well you can see what happens.

Not quite sure about Roderick Stewart’s six points, but the combo of Darrell Arthur and Darnell Jackson having a big game seems right on.
