Lately I have noticed the trend of simple grid based websites and really enjoy looking at them a breaking down the system. So I when I was looking at the aptly named TheGridSystem.org I was pleased to see link in the upper right corner that simply says “Show Grid”.

It then overlays a very “Geometry of Design” type grid that clearly shows how the system is composed. A clever but necessary feature for a site that focuses specifically on this topic.
