Yesterday saw the release of Gooogle Chrome which marks the search company’s first step into the world of web browsers. This is pretty big deal because 1.) Google is a huge company and any market it even looks at should be concerned 2.) There hasn’t been a new browser in years and certainly not one created specifically for running web applications.

Google has improved the back and front end processes in several innovative ways that I would normally not understand. So Google teamed up with illustrator Scott McCloud to help tell the Chrome story visually. The comic style e-book is available here and does a very good job of helping us common folk understand just what the differences are in this new browser.
